Active members are those currently employed as full-time Washington State law enforcement officers with forty or more hours of firearms instructor certification. Active members may participate in all WSLEFIA training, hold office and vote in WSLEFIA elections and meetings. Associate members are law enforcement officers of any state or country OR civilian firearms instructors with demonstrated law enforcement training experience. Associate members may participate in all WSLEFIA activities, but may not hold office or vote. Eligibility may be determined by the Executive Board.
